On the heels of her album release Jessie J releases a visually stunning video for “Nobody’s Perfect.”

There is so much going on that I really love about this video, not to mention how much I truly admire her as a performer. Whether she sings live doesn’t make much of a difference to me, but she is a TRUE performer. Solid performances and consistency all the way around. It’s almost like a bit of a horror movie for me – if you mix the dinner scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with a dash of Alice in Wonderland (not to mention Ashlee Simpson’s “Outta My Head” video) and some Shelley Duvall silliness. Have you also noticed how ferocious her look is? Those eyes, that hair, her skin, the nails – she’s knows how to work her image.
